Beltline BnB is in a prestigious heritage building built in 1927 in the Beltline area of Calgary. This apartment building was once a hotel and was home to many famous Calgarians. The building is deemed a special heritage building and will be preserved to never be destroyed.
There are many great reasons to stay here. The best reason is to experience this well preserved heritage building. The studio is very warm and cozy with a modern style blended with historic charm. ❤️
Beltline BnB feels like a European suite in a modern city of glass skyscrapers. The Studio is quaint but surprisingly spacious. The couch and coffee table are quite large and very comfy in front of the original fireplace with a modern 48” flat screen tv. There is lots of room to hang clothes and store away suitcases. There is a full size fridge, gas range, microwave, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, coffee maker and toaster.
The bathroom is a full tub with shower. Lots of hot water.
Expect some plaster cracks that tenants of the building call character marks. The cracks are filled and cleaned and add to the charisma of this fine building. The fireplace is original and non functional however we have added remote control candles and it is very cozy. 🔥🥂
The original 1927 hardwood floor creaks in a few areas which is to be expected and again just adds a little European culture to this unique property.
